Highlights of the trip

Brothers Islands – Untamed Beauty in the Open Sea

Rising from the deep blue, Big Brother and Little Brother are two isolated reef pinnacles located far offshore. These islands are legendary for their adrenaline-fueled dives, dramatic wall drop-offs, and encounters with apex predators. Strong currents bring in rich nutrients, attracting schooling hammerheads, oceanic whitetip sharks, threshers, and large tuna. The reef walls are painted in colorful soft corals, sea fans, and teeming with anthias and glassfish. This site is not for beginners — but for experienced divers, it’s a place where magic happens on every dive.

Daedalus Reef – Giant Encounters, Endless Blue

A large, remote reef crowned by a lighthouse, Daedalus sits in the heart of Egypt’s Marine Park zone. Its steep walls and wide coral plateaus are home to schooling hammerhead sharks, giant trevallies, manta rays, and sometimes whale sharks in season. This dive site delivers thrill and beauty, with pristine coral slopes, exceptional visibility, and the feeling of being miles away from the world. The dives here are deep, often fast, and absolutely unforgettable.

Elphinstone Reef – Icon of the Red Sea

A long, narrow reef that rises sharply from deep water, Elphinstone is one of the Red Sea’s most revered dive sites. Its sheer vertical walls, draped in soft corals, are regularly patrolled by oceanic whitetips, grey reef sharks, and schools of barracuda. Expect powerful drifts, surreal visibility, and the sensation of flying along one of Egypt’s true underwater marvels. Often saved for the first or last dive of the trip — it’s a perfect way to start or end with awe.

Marine Park Diving – Protected, Pristine, and Powerful

All the dive sites on this route lie within Egypt’s Marine Park Zone, meaning they’re protected by strict environmental regulations. This ensures low diver traffic, healthy marine ecosystems, and intact coral structures. Diving here feels exclusive — with clearer waters, thriving reef life, and respect for nature built into every moment. These sites are for certified divers ready to experience Egypt’s wildest side, responsibly.

Sataya South Plateau – Serenity Below the Surface

Tucked quietly south of the well-known Dolphin House, the Sataya South Plateau is a lesser-known gem. This wide coral shelf is draped in soft corals, dotted with patches of staghorn and table corals, and home to reef fish, macro critters, and the occasional barracuda squadron. It’s ideal for peaceful, shallow dives and underwater photography, offering a calm contrast to the thrill of the offshore reefs. A hidden highlight for those who appreciate detail, color, and silence.
